30th Anniversary

30 years of dancing, 30 years of promoting Greek dancing and culture in the UK and abroad.

In 2016, Lyra Greek Dancers celebrated their 30th Anniversary by throwing a party for current and ex members/students. We invited people who were in the group/classes in the last 30 years. It was a difficult task, as people had moved away from London and had lost touch with the group. We managed to locate quite a few of them and a birthday / reunion party took place, Our guests, who traveled from all over the UK, Greece, Canada and Turkey were just over 100 and the party was very successful.
