Founded in 1986, the Lyra Greek Dancers is a London based group of traditional Greek dance enthusiasts committed to keeping authentic, traditional Greek dancing, costumes and music alive. The group has more than 400 successful performances to its credit including international folk dancing festivals and competitions.

The Lyra Greek Dancers are able to present performances of about twenty to thirty minutes (which usually work best), or to your timed requirements. The Group normally performs a variety of dances, from Greece and Cyprus, which are enhanced and complimented by an impressive range of authentic regional costumes and music. The Group also performs the complete range of dance types including circle, line, couple and formation sequences.
